University of Leuven

The Science@Leuven Fund of the Faculty of Science at KU Leuven has several scholarships available for excellent foreign students who register for a program at the Faculty of Science.

The Master of STeDe is among them. Since STeDe students spend only one semester per academic year at KU Leuven, the scholarship, if granted, will be halved (amount of €5000).

Application for a scholarship implies that you chose KU Leuven for thesis and internship during  the second year. A scholarship for the first year does not imply that a scholarship for the second year (also halved to €5000) will be granted automatically.

A second year scholarship depends among others on the first year’s results. In both cases the deadline for application is January 31.

This is in line with the general terms that can be found at http://wet.kuleuven.be/english/scienceatleuvenscholarship
